A baby is not just a baby. Each baby is this amazing little person with a personality all their own from day one. I know this because I have spent the past two years studying newborns intently. Knowing their patterns of breath, their sleep cycles, and the different tones in their cries has become very useful information. Every single newborn amazes me. Some are more sensitive to touch than others, some more auditory responsive, and some more relaxed. It is also my belief that they have favorite sleep positions based on their activity in the womb, and it shows during their newborn session.
This world needs all kinds of kinds of people to make it go round. Let’s hope the more understanding genes prevail so that we end up with a few more compassionate, generous, and wise kind of people. I have no doubt that this lovely little lady will be one of those. She already displays the character of a gentle human being.
