Engagement sessions are always fun. And the Bride-to-be is always worried that her new fiance will not provide any genuine smiles or enjoy the process. She is always pleasantly surprised. This couple is a great example.
Photographing an engagement session is about finding the couples connection. I love learning about how the couple met. And what they are planning for the wedding and honeymoon. Every little part of our conversation helps me understand why these two people fell in love, and why they have chosen to dedicate their lives to one another.
Love is a beautiful thing. It’s a part of everything I photograph. The love between a man and women leads to everything else. The wedding day, the first baby, and the family portrait. And I love documenting every milestone.
Special Note: No new weddings are being accepted for 2011. Wedding Day services will not be available in 2012. Engagement and Bridal photography will still be offered.

It’s pretty hard to look at a couple who are smiling and enjoying each other and not find yourself smiling with them. Engagement sessions are a prerequisite to the Wedding Day. I think they are a fantastic idea! Especially when a Bridal session typically includes the bride only, and the Wedding Day is full of everyone. An engagement session gives the couple permission to be themselves and capture a few memories of that special something that has brought them together. Most couples will not feel it’s important to officially document their history again until they’ve added to the family, and that could be many, many years in the future.
This is one of my absolute favorites from this session. I love their genuine smiles, their unspoken connection, and the way she seems to shyly appreciate his affection.
Congratulations love birds. I can’t wait until the Wedding Day. I see great things in your future.
