According to the latest issue of National Geographic Magazine, babies born in the United States this year have a 50-50 chance of living to see their 100th birthday. Because we have advanced prenatal, and after birth care, our babies have the best chance of a healthy first year. Later in life, they will likely continue to experience the advancement of health care that will help them prevent disease and cure aliments. That’s all very good news.
This little guy visited us only a few days after birth. We hope he has at least 100 birthdays to come.
