There was a famous baby born in the past week to Beyonce and Jay-Z. Rumor has it that an entire wing of their NY hospital was rented to ensure complete privacy during their new baby’s delivery. Complete with security detail and much to the dismay of other parents who also wanted to visit their own children in the nursery. It all sounds a bit extreme, but isn’t that what we all do? We do what we can to provide the best we can for our new baby. And by ‘we’ I refer to those of us living in a democratic society in the developed world. For the most part, we all do the best we can.
As women know, it is easy to look at another mother’s lack of knowledge in parenting and feel bad for the infant receiving her care. But most mothers are doing the best they can. They provide their tiny new baby with the best care they know how to provide, and the most love they can give.
If you’re reading this blog, then you’re probably like me. You want the best for your child(ren) just like I want the best for mine. While we all define “best” in a slightly different way, it is the concept that matters. Give your best to them. And be your best for them.
Special Note: The image below is a composite image from more than one original photograph. Meaning it was created using very advanced digital editing skills, along with our highest level photography skills in studio. Every precaution was taken to ensure the safety of this baby and at no time was he in any danger. Please do NOT attempt such reenactments on your own at home. Much like the famous Anne Geddes baby’s were not really resting on giant flowers, neither was this baby suspended in the air on a scale. In addition, DO NOT trust an inexperienced amateur to attempt such advanced photography with your new baby.
